East meets West 2024 Connect is a full year program which will bring the missing competencies and skills to as many LGBTIQ individuals, organisation and businesses from Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) as possible. This way we make the best use of the so many contacts and partners we acquired throughout the last years. And, this way the many aspects that we previously touched in a single dense conference day we spread over a number and variety of activities. This capacity building can have various forms - attending a conference, taking parting in a learning event, joining a round table or to go on an internship.
Our job as East meets West will be to connect the identified capacity building needs and link them to a solution offered by our supporting partner. Backed now by the first partners committed to host or run specific events for our CEE network members, we are certain this pilot year will be a success and will lay down fundaments for scaling this bright idea in the next years!
To make it very concrete for you:
Apply and share with us the key focus areas you need to get better in, which capacity building you need, or which event you always wanted to attend but the necessary funds were not available. East meets West will continuously review all applications and work on matching the applicants' demand with the many opportunities offered by our supporting partners.
